Years ago, Sharen discovered that other people dreamed of being a cowboy or cowgirl — but didn’t just want a dude ranch experience like tourists. The original boot camp came about by friends asking to join her crazy horse adventures in the mountains, or simply to get on a ranch horse and chase cattle.
Sharen has called Las Vegas home for more than 30 years, but travels the world creating unique film projects and Legacy Portraits with fellow producer Bill Thomas. Her projects frequently involve horses — and sharing the boot camp hospitality with a small number of lucky dreamers is a favorite.
