2025 Camp #2 • Monday, August 25, 2025 – Thursday, September 4, 2025 Yampa, Colorado
Regional Airports are Vail/Eagle (EGE) Eagle County Regional Airport and Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) Hayden. The ranch is almost equal distance from these two regional airports, approximately 1½ hours. We will organize pick up or shuttles from all airports to get to ranch. The Denver International Airport, (DIA) is approximately 4 hours from the ranch.
This is an indulgent, epic, luxury escape because we all deserve some pampering.
Day 1: Do the Dreams Team pick up at Airport. Check in at ranch lodge, lunch, and match up with your horse. Ride at ranch, settle in and get acquainted with your fellow Legacy Riders. Each day is planned with a trail and a distance to optimize the memories of that ride, NOT how many hours we travel. This is a working cattle ranch and some days we may be moving cattle. Other days, trails lead us to mountain lakes. We take frequent breaks and work hard to keep ourselves happy and engaged with one another.
Every afternoon we return to our authentic ranch lodge for a fabulous meal. Relax around the campfire for some tall tales or enjoy the famous ‘FRONT PORCH’ camaraderie. Our day 10 ride ends at the ranch with kisses for your horse and a good-bye dinner.
Day 11 is Adios after breakfast. Tears are expected.

MEET YOUR HOSTESS
Sharen Black
Years ago, Sharen discovered that other people dreamed of being a cowboy or cowgirl. But, they didn’t just want a dude ranch experience like tourists. The original boot camp came about by friends asking to go on some of her crazy horse adventures in the mountains, or perhaps just being able to get on a ranch horse and chase cattle.
Sharen has called Las Vegas home for more than 20 years, but travels the world creating unique film projects and Legacy Portraits with her good friend and fellow producer, Bill Thomas. (BlackandThomas.com). Her favorite projects almost always involve horses; sharing her boot camp hospitality with a small number of lucky dreamers rejuvenates her soul.
